Community Engagement

  • Community engagement is an important part of our mission at Good for Westerville. We are dedicated to serving our city and residents through partnering with local organizations to support the good work they are doing for Westerville. There are many opportunities to join us, so watch our Facebook page or check out our tent at Fourth Friday’s.

People gathered at an outdoor event under a tent with the slogan "Good for Westerville" on the canopy. The table displays boxes, informational material, and volunteers are handing out items, indicating a community outreach or charity event.

Good for Westerville and many of our neighbors helped Lifeline Christian Mission pack 864 meals that will be making their way to families in need in Ukraine.

A group of people gathered outdoors, some holding trash bags and wearing gloves, participating in a community cleanup event.

We helped clean up Huber village Park and Hoff Woods. Thanks to our City Park Staff for supporting us.

A collection of handmade thank you and patriotic cards with American flag themes on a table, with a person arranging or creating them.

Many families stopped by our Fourth Friday tent to help make handmade cards for local veterans in nursing homes to thank them for serving our country!

Information display and supplies at a booth promoting homemade blankets for foster youth, with a banner, a white wall with Westerville logos, and bags of colorful blankets on the ground.

My Very own blanket is working towards providing 40,000 blankets to youth in Foster care worldwide this year! Thanks for giving us the opportunity to help make blankets during fourth Friday.
