2025 westerville
School Board race
We know that not everyone wants to dive into politics—and that’s okay. But for those who do, let’s model what healthy civic engagement looks like: listening well, disagreeing respectfully, and working together to be Good For Westerville.
See below for the results of a Good For Westerville Candidate Questionnaire completed and reviewed in August 2025.
Due to only receiving one response for the 2025 Westerville School Board race, we are simply providing that response here for review and consideration.

Mark Stevens
Mark draws upon his long history as a public educator and Westerville resident to shape his campaign priorities. He emphasizes supporting both teachers and students through professional development opportunities and a rigorous curriculum. Beyond the classroom, Mark highlights the importance of transparency with parents and the broader community, particularly on fiscal and curriculum matters. While his current level of community engagement could be stronger, his 20+ years of service in Westerville schools provide him with a meaningful connection to local families, and he has expressed his intent to deepen his ties within the community.
